JOSEPH STEPEC, MUSIC DIRECTOR
Euclid Symphony Orchestra

Joseph Stepec completed his bachelors in violin performance with Gregory Fulkerson at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 2010. He has participated in festivals in Maine, Texas, Vermont, and North Carolina. As an active recitalist, he has performed in Cleveland, Nashville, Cincinnati, and abroad in Slovenia. He has performed for William Preucil and Peter Salaff while also working closely with Kenneth Goldsmith and Felicia Moye at the International Round Top Festival-Institute. Joseph studied conducting with Bridget Reischl while at Oberlin in addition to his studies with Maestro Michael Jinbo at the Pierre Monteux School for Conductors and Orchestral Musicians (’11). He recently conducted a performance of Bernstein’s “Trouble in Tahiti” sponsored by the Oberlin Opera Theater program and also gave the Oberlin premiere of Guggenheim recipient, Seung-Ah Oh’s, Concerto for Piano and Six Instruments in 2010. Joseph is very excited to embark on what will be an exciting year with the Euclid Symphony Orchestra!
