TOM BAKER YOUNG ARTISTS COMPETITION

The Euclid Symphony Orchestra is proud to host the Tom Baker Young Artists Competition, an annual event dedicated to showcasing and supporting the next generation of talented musicians. Named in memory of Tom Baker—a longtime friend, donor, and member of the Euclid Symphony Orchestra—this competition honors his legacy of championing young artists and fostering musical excellence in the community.
2025-2026 Competition Details:
- Date: Saturday, November 1, 2025
- Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Location: Shore Cultural Centre, 291 E 222nd St, Euclid, OH 44123
This prestigious competition is open to advanced musicians, both instrumentalists and vocalists, aged 18 and under. Participants must prepare a virtuosic, concerto-level piece (or equivalent) that showcases their technical and artistic ability.

- A $500 cash prize
- The opportunity to perform with the Euclid Symphony Orchestra at their spring classical concert in April 2026.
